We are excited to announce the title of their upcoming 14-track album: Zebra’s Hair.
The album will be celebrated with a special launch event at the iconic Lazybones Lounge on Saturday, 21 November 2026, bringing together a night of original roots-rock, soulful songwriting, and unforgettable live performances.
Joining John Harp Drive for this special occasion will be internationally acclaimed Chilean-Uruguayan Australian vocalist Rachel Delgado and her band, who will open the evening with a captivating set of smooth Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova all-time favourites.
For John Harp Drive, Zebra’s Hair marks an important new chapter. Following the band’s evolution from Coogee Bay Road Band into a new creative identity, the album represents a collection of original songs shaped by years of live performance, storytelling, and a shared passion for timeless roots-rock influences.
Blending melodic songwriting, expressive vocals, harmonica, and classic rock influences with a modern edge, John Harp Drive have created an album that reflects both the band’s journey and their ambition to connect with audiences beyond the traditional pub circuit.
The road to Zebra’s Hair begins with the release of the new single “It’s Our Fate” in September, leading towards the full album celebration at Lazybones in November.
